Structural Tower Foreman/Lead

Mid Atlantic Contracting is immediately hiring an experienced Tower Foreman/Lead for work in the Baltimore-Washington DC market responsible for over-seeing the building and/or installing of wireless communication sites. Experience with AT&T and/or Verizon projects required.
MUST HAVE 5+ years? exp. as a lead and 5+ years? exp. tower climbing in the L&A field.
This job requires:
- Supervising/leading a crew of 3-6 tower climbers/technicians/hands
- Experience welding, maintain welding certifications, and supervise crew welders
- Mentor and train other tower employees
- Ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget
- Installing antennas, radio-heads, and other equipment specified on carrier drawings
- Aligning antennas with correct tools
- Using sweep testing tools or software
- Running appropriate power, ground, and coaxial cables
- Testing for service and proper signal from equipment
- MUST HAVE extensive knowledge of tools for job, climbing, and safety
- OSHA 10, Comtrain, or other certifications preferred
- MUST be very safety oriented
- Must be able to lift heavy objects of 80 lbs. or more
Work is usually 10 days out in the field (traveling) and 4 days off.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
